“Big open area with multiple kid soccer fields. Plenty of parking around in a comfortable open area on I think an old parade ground at the barracks of the old Alameda naval station. Not much in the way of infrastructure. No seats. Some porta potties for bathrooms. There's a vendor who's established themselves up at the entrance to the field for snacks.”

“These are the worst soccer fields we have ever played on. Lumpy, holes and divots, giant patches of overgrown crabgrass, barren sections, all topped off with a layer of goose poop. Thank goodness these are not our home fields. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1, because there are decent Porta-potties.”
