“Perfect place to exercise your dog if you need separation from other people or dogs. There is one entrance to the field from the parking lot and a hole in the fence in the back right corner(if looking from the lot). Soccer season is almost all year long but going anytime before 3:30pm or as its getting dark will give you the freedom to run your dog off leash and play without worrying about other people. “This is first and foremost an Alameda Youth Soccer field where kids get to play. Several here have commented that they bring their dogs here to play and that’s great. What is not great is finding a massive amount of dog poop on the soccer field that our children step in. Clean up after your dog as the city rules state on the signage at entrance. Thank you for your cooperation.”
