“Great facility for practicing with both handguns and rifles. The recent renovations were well done and noticeably improve the overall experience. Both ranges include clearly marked yardage, eliminating the need for a range finder and making it ideal for sighting in scopes. If you are looking for an outdoor range to bring your kids and teach them proper firearm safety and shooting fundamentals, this is an excellent…”

“A very safely run shooting range, ALL of the employees were very helpful and put safety first and foremost. I recommend it if you need a place to shoot. Pistols have a 25 yard range and rifles have a 100 yard range. Be sure to bring your own targets and ppe (eye and ear protection). Also, you will have to view a state produced video (available free online) in order to qualify to gain admittance.”

“I’ve been shooting here for about six months and I recently brought my wife so she could practice with her pistol. The RSO’s here are always kind and knowledgeable and the facilities including the bathrooms are nice and clean. One range officer was especially helpful, and his tips really improved my wife’s aim!(pictured)”

“Took my wife and daughter here Sept 21, 2025. First time at this range, first time shooting for my daughter and second for my wife. I've shot off and on for a few decades. The staff were all extremely kind and patient explaining the rules and showing us around. Michael at the pistol range was superb. He was a tremendous help to my wife and daughter. They were all smiles after getting dialed in and comfortable. We…”

“Great range for outdoor target practice. The two times I've been so far, the staff has been great and the range not too crowded. Mike and Will are great RSOs, professional and helpful. Facilities are clean. Don't forget to bring your own targets, and a hunting/fishing license are the minimum to shoot on the range.”

“Great place for shooting, the range masters are safety oriented, and good guys to talk to! I've normally gone to the indoor ranges, but no more, Wilson Shoals puts them all to shame. Just wonderful overall, highly recommended!”
