“One of the best spots Chicago has to offer. The views, the sense of community, and the free pickleball courts make it a great place to spend time. “Grant Park Pickleball Courts offer an excellent setup for both beginners and experienced players. The courts are clean, well organized, and clearly laid out. I appreciate the location because it allows you to enjoy views of the park and nearby skyline while playing. The vibe is welcoming, and people are usually happy to rotate games and include new players. It is a fun way to exercise while being outdoors in one of C”

“Pickleball - The game for the those with mobility restrictions, the elderly, or just out of shape 30 somethings - has a new court in the SLoop. Of course I love when new things come to the SLoop. Unfortunately, like the tennis courts next door, there will be times when groups of people come claiming they have it reserved even though no one knows how to reserve the space. Or some u201cregularu201d will make their own u201crulesu201d ”

“16 lighted pickleball courts, and a few tennis courts. Courts are nice, and lighted until 11pm. The competition is mainly beginner to low intermediate, or 2.5-3.25 level. If you are looking to just hit around with some friends, this is a great place. If you are looking to meet good competition, not the place. Most of the people were pretty friendly. No bathrooms around.”

“16 pickleball courts in downtown Chicago, nice! If you want to play at that court, line up there, I was told.”

“whoever is in charge of this joint: THIS PLACE NEEDS WINDSCREENS PLEASE AND THANK YOU for both tennis and pickle. Also whoever installed these fences literally did them backwards/inside out. the black poles should be on the outside of the court not inside lol”

“The courts are pretty good, but they do slope towards the drains for drainage, so the court isn't level. There isn't a paddle up system, so it is a bit confusing on who plays next and if it is 2 on & 2 of our 4 on & 4 off. That is assuming that those on the courts don't start another game.”

“I like place overall. However, I encountered a group of people occupying two courts, with two of them taking up one court, claiming they had lessons until 8 PM. They mentioned they were from something like the Chicago Public Pickleball organization. This was confusing and disappointing, as the rules clearly state that private or public lessons are not allowed on the courts, which is posted on the door.”
