What visitors are saying

“Vintage skatepark construction. The transition is too mellow, but there are some fun features. The flat ledge is decent. The mellow banks and quarter pipes make it a little kid hot spot. There is a little street diy across the parking lot too.”

“Friendly locals and one of the best views of SF from anywhere make this out of the way gem a must go to for any Bay area skater. But try not to fall and wear protection because the old concrete will remove your skin. That said, this park is good for beginners and the elderly. -The Alameda Screamer”

“Nice open skate park next to the Oakland Port with good waterfront and a bit of city views. There are restrooms nearby, parking and seating. Overall quite nice but the place could use a bit of clean up of leaf accumulation in n some areas.”

— Ton T. · ★★★★☆ · 2025-1-20

“The worst park Iu2019ve skated in a while, transitions are horrible. Everything is built weird, ignoring the concrete, thereu2019s no real flow lines at the park. The only good thing about this park was the u201cstreet sectionu201d outside of the park, it has some fun DIY stuff. Would not recommend waiting your time driving to this one. The sketchiest people hang out in the parking lots, on an old naval base.”

— Martin C. · ★☆☆☆☆

“Very kid friendly for a variety of ages. Paid a visit on a Saturday with my 7 year old and it was very busy with skateboarders of all ages and genders. Nice clean new bathrooms. Great place to go when it's hot on the other side of the East Bay hills. Safe, Clean and friendly.”

— Warren L. · ★★★★★ · 2024-8-3

“This is my kids favorite skatepark. All the skate kids I know think itu2019s the best for the flow and the chill vibes. Adults and older skaters are kind and open to the younger ones - energetically bringing them into the fold of skate culture. It can be intimidating for a beginner to be at a skatepark and my kid has thrived going to this one.”

— caitlin h. · ★★★★★ · 2025-2-11

“As a guy with almost no knowledge of skating, I can say this is a sweet place to ride! Better layout than many places Ive seen, where you can link together a number of features. Now if I can only learn how to turn. There's even enough room and variety that my little man can teach me without mucking about in everyone else's way.”

— Eric G. · ★★★★★ · 2023-7-6

“For younger kids the morning is great, in the afternoon older kids come out to play and they tend to own the park. We did have a great time.”
