“The fitness area at the 14th Street Y is generally clean and well kept, which I appreciate. One concern, though, is that many members do not wipe down the machines after using them. Since there arenu2019t attendants assigned to handle this, I think it would be very helpful if the gym placed clear and visible signs reminding members to clean the equipment once theyu2019re finished. “Just so there is no confusion, this is NOT a YMCA, theyu2019ve just coopted the Y nickname. Lifeguards seem to enforce rules only when they feel like it and when they can seize on some ah-ha energy by embarrassing parents there with their children for swim lessons. Swim instructors themselves seem great at helping small children comfortable in the water. Overall not totally pleased with our experience and probably wouldn”

I felt it was a great place to do this, given the fact that there's so much to learn about how the tunnel closure would change people's commute through the city.”

“Great space with a warm and friendly staff, and (for the most part) chill, respectful patrons. Very good and accessible pool hours for adult lap swimming. I love that there are multiple lap lanes that work well for every type of swimmer. Great Lifeguards. All-around decent accommodations at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!”
