“This is a good place for family outings or an active birthday party for kids. I love that there's a small building you can go inside of to warm up, get a snack, or use a real restroom. They even have little doohickies that help kids stand up and keep their balance as they're learning to ice skate. They just need more of them, because there were more struggling kids than doohickies. LOL”

“We visited in a Sunday afternoon. Itu2019s a great rink for beginners. The staff were friendly and even help take pics of our family. The rink was in a great location it wasnu2019t congested at all, and we found free parking. I wish they had beverages on site that would have been nice. If you are looking to skate for a great price and to beat the crowds, give it a shot. They even have a nice warming area.”

“They just opened up for 2020! You can bring your own skates for free, or rent a pair there. They've currently got a 50 person max capacity for covid-19 reasons, so you might have a bit of a wait. Pleasant rink otherwise, with nice views of the UChicago campus!”
