“So clean!!!!!!!! I like the lane pool (7-8 ft deep) but friends prefer the warm pool, which is only 3ft deep, so good for exercise. Not good for swimming. Hot tub, steam and sauna available. Locker rooms large with many showers. Lots of helpful people. Lifeguards are super focused with supporting staff to answer questions and on deck support so lifeguards monitor the swimmers.”

“This is a very nice, well run facility. The pool is always clean, there's a nice gym, and the common areas are well kept. Plenty of parking. I really enjoy the staff - specifically Jeremy, Mel, and Q. All have been extremely professional and kind over the years.”

“Smaller gym than I've seen in most recreation center but it's clean and has just about everything you need. Love that they have multiple pools and even a hot tub”

“As others have mentioned, facility is a little small which means it can be a little crowded at times. Facility was very clean though which was nice.”

“The swimming pool is very clean. Lots of people are swimming here, but because the pool is clearly separated by lanes it would not be a problem. Most of the pool that can be used for free swim are quite deep though. There are 2 lifeguards on stand by near the pool. The toilets are clean, and all of facilities are really clean. The price for the entry is also quite cheap. Great place to swim in Charlotte!”

“By far one of the worst swim meet facilities in the state. They clearly donu2019t care about capacity or over booking. Spectators and swimmers were standing room only and sitting on the floor on the pool deck and in the lobby. Extremely chaotic. Not to mention the lack of a clear start to the swim sessions. (i.e. national anthem or announcement.)”

“Lovely saltwater pool facilities. I don't think they expected such a large group of people for this event - long lines for the bathrooms, not enough seating, could not hear the announcer - but that's on the event coordinator I would guess. The facility was clean and would normally be easy to view swimmers if they hadn't sold 650 tickets. Big round of applause for the staff continuing to bring in multiple sets of extr”

“The aqua center is amazing. Iu2019m new to the area with mobility issues. one of the best ways to work on stability, for me at least, is Aqua therapy. Location has three pools as well as an exercise room. As a senior citizen, in Mecklenburg County it very affordable. The facility is clean and comfortable, hopefully I can get here three times a week.”
