“Difficult to find. Parking is far from the range. Also you need to purchase balls across a major street and then bring them to the range. None of this is clear when you first visit. The range itself is great. There are a couple nice chipping/putting greens.”

“Pros: Lots of mats to hit from, a few greens for putting and chipping (including some bunkers) and has benches and trash cans. Cons: Have to buy and carry the bucket of balls off-site and walk 6 minutes to the range and then go return the bucket. I recommend parking around the clubhouse.”

Impossible to find... drove around the entire park 3 times... went into the golf course shop to ask for directions, they were rude and less than helpful, and said we had to buy balls there and THEN drive to the other side of park for the range. There was no close parking... after parking and walking for 5 minutes in an extremely remote forest, I felt like I was going to get jumpe”

“This is not really a review of the golf range. It is about what it was before it was turned into a golf range. I grew up in the neighborhood around 63rd and Kedzie. This was the 1960's and 70's. We called this area of the park The Island. It was a vast area with several baseball diamonds and a football field with goal posts. You had enough room to fly a kite or kick a football. “Honestly, I read some reviews here that gave this place below 4 stars. Thrashing the place, for example, that they have to WALK so FAAAR. Don't listen to the rest of the reviews. You check in at the office, buy the bucket ($11) of golf balls (80-90 per bucket), walk 5-10 minutes and you practice. If you are going to be high maintenance, go somewhere more expensive.”
