“Hosted our son's first birthday here on the 2nd floor (with adjacent kitchen). This place is STUNNING, especially if you knew it prior to renovations. While it's a bit of an analog process (there's no online way to book or pay so you need to go in person), the staff were impressive, the place clean, and they even allow flexibility to arrive/set up the day before. They set everything up, and take everything down/garba”

“On September 1st, 2024, while walking west on Montrose heading home, a red SUV suddenly stopped. A person, a black youth, emerged and demanded my phone, wallet, and backpack at gunpoint. Reacting quickly, I ran, and the individual chased me. Thankfully, the wet grass caused them to slip, prompting them to return to their vehicle without obtaining any of my belongings. This experience has reminded me of the importance”

“The bocce court was in need of maintenance, overgrown with potholes. Fieldhouse currently closed, so bring your own set to play. A fair amount of day drinkers in the park.”

“Park is nice and has a community feel. I play softball on the Southwest softball diamond. There is a moderately sized playground with water/splash park for the kids. I would not recommend visiting after dark because it could be a bit dangerous. Last year there was a drive by shooting during one of my softball games.”
