“DinkSF is now in the same location as Church of 8 Wheels (rollerskating). The building was previously an actual church. The playing surface is old wood slats like an old, ummaintained high school gym, and has random uneven/rough spots. The pickleball courts are marked with tape, the nets are temporary (the flimsy, rolling kind). Monday night 3.5+ open play from 5 to 9 pm has good attendance and skill level is general”

“I get it now, I understand why pickleball is so popular. I started with a beginneru2019s class, have taken a number of workshops and now I play twice a week most weeks at Open Play, Thursdays and Sundays.
