“Solid Lower East Side spot. Views of the Williamsburg Bridge and Brooklyn waterfront are the main draw. Good mix of stuffu2014playground, basketball courts, handball, soccer field, and a dog run with spray nozzles. Bathrooms are actually decent and open late. Some construction going on for flood prevention, so parts are fenced off, but still plenty of room. Connected to East River Park by a new bridge now. Good for a few”

“The park is finally open! Well, not really. There are sections of East river park that are still closed. What's open looks good. The grills are extraordinary. I've used the same drum-style grill at governor island. The do the trick. I hope they hold up because they will be used in this neighborhood. Looking forward for the entire park to open.”

“Busy for a small park tucked by the East River. Some ppl are heading to or from the ferry. The park also connects you to the park that runs along the river and connects to the lower piers. Inside the park is a modest dog park which can separate to small and big w sections or left open as one big park. Sadly the ground is concrete. No shade or water fountain. There are plenty of grass areas. The middle sections say no”

“Sadly they removed the amphitheater and parks by the East River due to necessary work. Not sure how necessary it was to tear down all this but wish they could have preserved more of it nonetheless parts of the park away from the water is peaceful & pretty. Hope they finish the waterfront sooner than later, will be a blight for most of the year it seems”

Dog park is open very dark at night and needs lights in the dog park and path to the ferry. (Pic below) Baseball field is open Restrooms are open and typically well maintained. Small grass areas are open, and great events are st”
