“This place needs to be knocked down and built again. The driver way in had so many holes it was like swiss cheese. If your not an average size person and you need to go to the bathroom your better off finding a bush. The bathroom stalls are SO small when you try to sit down on the toilet you touch the sides of the stall. This is a bigger sized person's nightmare. The woman's bathroom had NO paper towels all weekend. ”

“This is a small but nice venue for a travel baseball tournament. The fields were dirt but nice. There was room to set up canopies. There were no rules against coolers, unlike many tournament venues. The concession stand could be overwhelmed at times.”

“For the amount that they charge per car to park in the lot while all these spring leagues are going on everyday, you would think they wouldn't have crumbling roads and clean bathrooms. The horrible gravel patching is not cutting it. Actually fix the holes probably and stop being cheap. And don't even get me started on the fields. Half the time they don't even look like they are being maintained.”

“For as much as they charge for you to get in, they should use that money for renovations. Bathrooms very small and cramped. Hand dryer didnt work. Only 1 person working concessions. Fields were nice and kept up. So one good thing.”

It's been going downhill for years but It is sad to see how run down they have actually let the facility become. Even if the rumor that they have sold the property so they aren't putting money back into it is true. This isn't acceptable. “It's ok for what it is, but it has seen much better times. Everything feels worn out and on the verge of all out collapse. This is in spite of the $3 gate fee. There are some things that make Midwest alright however. The prices on beer are fair, the employees are good, and the enjoyment is great. While, I'd prefer a better kept sports area, it isn't bad enough to dissuade me from going.”

“This place is a dump. We were here for 14U state tournament. You would think USSSA could find a nicer venue. No hot water in restrooms. Ceiling fans falling down in concession eating area. Diamond number signs falling off back stops. Damaged fences. My son played there in a 9U tournament 5 years ago and the place is in worse shape than it was then.”
