“this is a very famous from rocky movies. the building changed a bit but it is still recognizable. the trip by bike from the center city was interesting. but you might not be in the safest part of Philadelphia.”

“DO NOT COME HERE AND ESPECIALLY NOT AT NIGHT. First, the area is extremely dangerous and most app rideshares cancel, refusing to pick you up there. A lot of heavily drugged and armed people on the streets. Second, it's under construction or in the middle of one, nothing to see there. Third, it's next to a highway and only close to absolutely nothing except Rocky's 1st home which is OUT OF QUESTION to visit at night. ”

“Of course the area is bad. But it was the hood in the movies so no surprises there. So amazing to stand here. Such an iconic piece of history. If you have kids please be extra careful there are literally needles in the street and on the front step, some we moved to take some photos. Be careful ! Check out the pizza place caddy corner. .
