The New Orleans Pelicans, ranked just below the Clippers, added to the misery for the Detroit Pistons by defeating the NBA’s weakest team with a score of 114-101. The Pistons have now suffered defeat in 59 out of 71 games.

The Lakers, who will begin a streak of six road games on Tuesday, currently hold the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings with 11 games left in the regular season, which consists of 82 games. The top eight teams will advance to the post-season playoffs.

The Pacers have a sixth-place ranking in the Eastern Conference and have 10 games remaining in their season.

Davis stated that defensively, it was terrible to allow them to score 145, but offensively, we have the freedom to do as we please.

In another location, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a 30 point game and recorded a season-best 19 rebounds, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 118-93 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder and solidifying their position as second in the Eastern Conference.

The Lakers emerged victorious with a score of 150-145, led by Davis with 36 points and 16 rebounds. James contributed 26 points and 10 assists to the winning effort.

In the fourth quarter, Indiana earned 46 points while the Lakers scored 10 points in the last minute, leading to their third consecutive win.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are also contending, as they trail just one victory behind the top three teams. They recently defeated the Golden State Warriors 114-110, with Steph Curry scoring 31 points for the Warriors.

Despite losing 121-107 to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Clippers maintain their fourth place ranking.
