Regionals Paragliding/Hanggliding Launch Site is a designated takeoff area for paragliders and hang gliders in San Bernardino, California, situated at Cloudland Truck Trail. The site sits at an elevation of about 3,400 feet above mean sea level, offering pilots a straightforward glide path toward AJX, a nearby landing zone. The launch site is equipped with wheelchair-accessible parking to accommodate visitors with mobility needs. Pilots typically use the area during favorable wind conditions, often in the late morning or early afternoon, though exact timing depends on weather patterns. The site is maintained for safety and efficiency, with clear takeoff zones marked for both paragliders and hang gliders.

For visitors, the best way to confirm current conditions or access details is through the Crestline Soaring website. Pilots should be prepared for variable weather, as wind strength and direction can change rapidly at higher elevations. Non-pilots may observe from a safe distance, but the area is primarily intended for active use by flyers. The site’s simplicity and direct glide path make it a practical choice for those seeking a straightforward launch experience.
