“It’s important for him to understand that this is all part of the growth process,” Hardy said. “There are going to be highs and lows, but as long as he stays committed to the work and continues to learn and improve, he’s going to be just fine.”

As for George, he’s taking each game and each day as a learning opportunity. He’s grateful for the chance to play in the NBA and is determined to make the most of it.

“I’m just trying to soak up as much as I can and be present in every moment,” George said. “I know it’s a long season and there will be tough times, but I also know that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I want to make the most of it.”

“I have a great support system here,” George said. “The coaches and my teammates are always there for me, giving me advice and helping me through it. And for that, I’m extremely grateful.”
