However, it appears that Fleury is the one who ultimately triumphed … for the time being, at least.

This report was aided by the contributions of Ryan Boulding, an independent correspondent for NHL.com.

Duhaime, in a video shared by the Avalanche, commented, “I believe [Fleury] had assistance without a doubt. It was not a one-man effort. Honestly, I doubt he could even change a tire, so I’m certain he had assistance.”

Following Duhaime’s move to the Avalanche, he seized the opportunity of being back in Minnesota this week by wrapping Fleury’s car in toilet paper, reigniting their ongoing prank war.

The car he was using was still parked in the garage on Tuesday morning. The individual stated that he had to get a ride to the arena.

In December, Duhaime initiated a prank rivalry when he referred to Fleury as “50” during an interview while playing for the Wild. In retaliation, Fleury took Duhaime’s clothing and replaced his shoes with white boots. Duhaime then countered by replacing Fleury’s hockey stick with a cane.
