Recognizing the vital role clubs play in safeguarding their members, a specialized training program has been developed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to become certified Club APIs. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
✔ Articulate the role and meaning of a Club API to club management.
✔ Establish themselves as the point of contact for integrity-related matters within the club.
✔ Provide initial support in response to reports or suspicions of inappropriate conduct.
✔ Conduct conversations with reporters and involved parties in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
✔ Manage incidents according to established protocols and, when necessary, refer cases to the relevant authorities.
