Three-time WNBA All-Star Jackie Young, a guard for the las Vegas Aces, will miss the game due to a knee injury. This will be Young’s Unrivaled debut.Perennial MVP candidate Alyssa Thomas, who has spent her 11-year WNBA career with the Connecticut Sun, injured her knee in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game and will also be sidelined.
To fill the void left by Thomas,Natisha Hiedeman will be reassigned from the Phantom club to the Laces. Hiedeman, a WNBA free agent who most recently played on the Minnesota Lynx, previously joined Unrivaled this season to fill in for Marina Mabrey of the phantom who strained her calf in training camp.
