Ms. Cartmill resided in scarborough for over 45 years before moving to Alliston in 2021. She enjoyed her life in her condo, chatting with neighbors, and visits from family.Walking was one of her favorite pastimes.

An avid sports fan, Ms. Cartmill closely followed hockey,baseball,and golf,knowing the names of all the players on her favorite teams. Family and friends knew not to interrupt her during game time.

Predeceased by her husband, Neil Cartmill, in 2017 after 51 years of marriage, she is survived by her children Gary, Michael, and Cheryl (Kurt).She was also predeceased by her sister, Jo-Ann, and is survived by sisters Janet (late husband Bruce) and donna (late husband Paul). She leaves behind six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six nieces and nephews, and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
