The Sixers have chosen a tropical location for their training camp in 2024.
On Monday, the team revealed that this year’s camp will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 1 to Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas. Media day is scheduled for Sept. 30 at the Sixers’ training complex in Camden, New Jersey.
Eric Gordon, one of the seasoned players the Sixers acquired this offseason, competed for the Bahamas during the summer as they sought to qualify for the Paris Olympics. Buddy Hield, who transitioned from the Sixers to the Warriors in a July sign-and-trade, also represented the Bahamas.
This trip to the Bahamas marks the Sixers’ third consecutive off-site training camp.
