Seattle Mariners Lock in 30 Players for 2024 Season: Contracts Tendered and Free Agents Revealed

Seattle had 10 players already under contract for the 2024 season

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today that the Mariners have tendered 2024 contracts to 30 players on their Major League roster.

Major League clubs had to make contract offers (“tender”) to every player on their 40-man roster who was not already signed for the 2024 season by Nov. 17 at 5:00 pm (PDT). Players who were not offered contracts became free agents.

The following 30 players were tendered 2024 contracts today:

Pitchers (16):

Ty Adcock, RHP

Eduard Bazardo, RHP

Prelander Berroa, RHP

Cody Bolton, RHP

Matt Brash, RHP

Logan Gilbert, RHP

Emerson Hancock, RHP

Ryan Jensen, RHP

George Kirby, RHP

Darren McCaughan, RHP

Bryce Miller, RHP

Tayler Saucedo, LHP

Gabe Speier, LHP

Trent Thornton, RHP

Justin Topa, RHP

Bryan Woo, RHP

Infielders (4):

José Caballero, INF

Ty France, INF

Josh Rojas, INF

Luis Urías, INF

Outfielders (8):

Dominic Canzone, OF

Jonatan Clase, OF

Zach DeLoach, OF

Sam Haggerty, INF/OF

Ten players were already under contract for the 2024 season:

Luis Castillo, RHP, signed through 2027 with vesting option for 2028.

J.P. Crawford, INF, signed through 2026.

Marco Gonzales, LHP, signed through 2024 with club option for 2025.

Dylan Moore, INF/OF, signed through 2025.

Andrés Muñoz, RHP, signed through 2025 with options through 2028.

Kaleb Ort, RHP, signed through 2024.

Robbie Ray, LHP, signed through 2026.

Julio Rodríguez, OF, signed through 2029 with options through 2039.

Eugenio Suárez, INF, signed through 2024 with club option for 2025.

Evan White, INF, signed through 2025 with options through 2028.

Additionally, Infielder Mike Ford, who was designated for assignment on November 14, was not tendered a contract for the 2024 season and became a free agent.

The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster is full at 40 players.
