Thousands of racing fans and industry professionals gathered Friday for the opening day of the Pioneer Pole Buildings Race Car & Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Makayla Kohler of Allentown, Pennsylvania, was named Ms. Motorsports 2025, besting 21 other contestants. Kohler received a $2,500 prize. Tiffany Hitzler was named first runner-up and won the Fan Vote Swimsuit contest, earning $1,000. Maddie Dissinger finished as second runner-up.
Racing Legends Draw Big Crowds
The event featured appearances by NASCAR legends Ray evernham and Bill Elliott. evernham, a NASCAR Hall of Famer, celebrated his 50th year in racing. He signed autographs, met fans, and discussed his new book, “Trophies and Scars.” Elliott,a multi-time NASCAR Cup champion and Daytona 500 winner,made his first appearance at the show in over a decade. He participated in an autograph session alongside Evernham and IROC co-founder Jay Signore, followed by an on-stage discussion.

A new attraction this year was the Engine tear Down competition,featuring student teams from the York County School of Technology competing to disassemble and reassemble an engine. The competition continues on Saturday.
Other highlights included the Kids Big Wheels Races, a tribute to the late Lynn Paxton, the Little Ms. Motorsports competition, a Tire Change competition sponsored by American Racer Tire and Vahlco Wheels, and the ATQMRA awards banquet and rules meeting.
