NCT WISH’s XION to Throw First Pitch at Kia Tigers Game
NCT WISH leader XION will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Kia Tigers’ home game against the Hanwha Eagles on May 4th at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field.
The Kia Tigers announced on April 27th that XION, known for his passionate support of the team, will participate in the opening pitch ceremony to wish the team victory.
XION’s connection with the Tigers runs deep. Last year, he was invited to throw the first pitch, but the game was sadly canceled due to rain. He showed his support by dancing to “bboom BBoom” in the players’ lounge to cheer up the team. This year, he gets another chance to take the mound at champions Field.
“I was disappointed that I couldn’t throw the first pitch last year, so I’m excited and happy to have another opportunity,” said XION. “I want to bring good luck to the players through my pitch. I’ll cheer loudly with the Tigers fans for the team’s victory on the day of the game.”
The May 4th game will also feature a “Milly Galley Day” series event in collaboration with “Catch! Teenie Ping.”
