ROCKINGHAM — The announcement regarding NASCAR’s return to the iconic Rockingham Speedway has generated enthusiasm among local leaders for the prospects of Richmond County.
It was revealed on Thursday afternoon that The Rock will host races featuring NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series during the weekend of April 18-19.
