Nascar Xfinity Series Season Kicks Off at Daytona
The 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season roared to life on Saturday, February 15, with the United Rentals 300 at Daytona International Speedway. Defending series champion Justin Allgaier clinched the pole position after rain canceled qualifying.
The race saw 38 drivers compete in a 120-lap thriller over 300 miles on the 2.5-mile tri-oval superspeedway. Allgaier, driving for JR Motorsports, led the field to the green flag alongside Joe Gibbs racing’s Taylor Gray.
Roundout the top 10 were rookie Christian Eckes, Austin hill, William Sawalich, Sheldon Creed, Brandon Jones, Sam Mayer, Jesse Love, and Carson Kvapil. Carson Ware, CJ McLaughlin, and JJ Yeley were unfortunately unable to qualify for the race.
The United Rentals 300 was broadcast live on CW and MRN at 5:00 pm.
