Peru to Host Pan American and Oceania Judo Championships
Lima, Peru, will become a hub for judo as it hosts the Pan American and Oceania Championships for Cadets and Juniors from April 18-20.The event takes place at the modern Polideportivo 3 of the VIDENA – IPD complex.
Cadet Competition Kicks Off the Championships
The championships begin Friday,April 18,at 9:00 a.m. with the Cadet category. More than 138 athletes from 19 countries across the Americas and Oceania will compete.
Junior Championship Serves as Qualifier for Asunción 2025
Saturday, April 19, is a key date for athletes aiming for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción. With 216 athletes from 26 countries participating, this competition is the last qualifying event for the Games.
Mixed Team Competition Closes the Event
The championships conclude on Sunday, April 20, with the mixed team competition.

International Referee Seminar and Training Camp
Leading up to the competition,Lima will also host the International Referee Seminar for the Pan American Region on April 15-16. Following the championships, an International Training Camp will be held from April 21-23, led by Argentinian Olympic medalist Paula Pareto.
