JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence will miss his second consecutive game due to a left shoulder injury, coach Doug Pederson confirmed Wednesday morning.
Mac Jones will start against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Pederson expressed optimism that Lawrence could return after the team’s Week 12 bye week.
“As you know,” Pederson said, “I’m cautious about injuries. We won’t put a player out there who isn’t 100 percent, so Lawrence will rest for another week.”
