Mimi Rhodes carded a favorable score to take the outright lead before the suspension. She currently sits atop the leaderboard.
French Contingent Makes a Mark
Of the eleven french players competing, Céline Herbin posted a strong round of 3-under 70, placing her in a provisional tie for ninth. Anne-Lise Caudal and Anne-Charlotte Mora also completed their rounds, each carding a 1-under 71 to sit in a tie for 21st.
Other French Players Face Challenges
Nastasia Nadaud, Perrine Delacour, Agathe Laisné, and Emie Peronnin also completed their first rounds but find themselves above par. Their scores were +2, +3, +4, and +7 respectively, leaving them wiht ground to make up in the second round.
