CONCORD, N.C. — Beverly Lipford from Goldsboro is now one of eight finalists vying for a chance to win $1 million as part of the NASCAR Powerball Playoff promotion, as announced by N.C. Education Lottery officials on Monday.
Lipford advanced from the final twelve to the final eight following an announcement made during the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday.
“This is a brand-new experience for us, and I can tell you it’s wild, but in a good way,” Lipford shared. “It gives us something to look forward to each day.”
