He primarily raced throughout the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship season from that same modest garage, except for a few select races, including those in the Virginia Triple Crown at South Boston Speedway and Langley Speedway, which he competed in with Nelson Motorsports.
After clinching his first NASCAR championship a year ago, Hall expressed, “I started Late Model racing in my dad’s garage, and we secured a national championship from that very same place.”
Currently, he has achieved two championships through that family-run operation.

Hall’s Late Model Stock Car season is far from over. This weekend, he will compete in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway—the most significant, lucrative, and prestigious NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race in the nation, marking the final event in the Virginia Triple Crown series, taking place on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 7:00 p.m. Practice and qualifying are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
Hall is at the top of the Virginia Triple Crown standings, boasting an average finish of 1.5 in the initial two races, having secured a victory at South Boston and a second-place finish at his local track, Langley.
