According to Ruff, the incident between Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin and forward Peyton Krebs during Monday’s practice is a reflection of that intensity.
“It’s simply boys will be boys,” Ruff commented. “I think Dahlin got bumped earlier, and he responded in kind. I wouldn’t overanalyze that. We aim for competitive practices, so it’s normal for emotions to run high from time to time, but that’s a positive aspect.”
