More than 40 members of the Petty family, including the legendary “King” himself, will issue the command to start engines before the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday.
Richard Petty and his family will signal drivers to start their engines prior to the Xfinity 500 on Sunday. This special recognition comes as 2024 marks 75 years of the Petty family’s participation in NASCAR.
