CeeDee Lamb Makes NFL History with Consecutive 150-Yard Games

Cowboys Receiver Becomes First Player to Achieve Remarkable Feat

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has etched his name in the NFL record books by becoming the first player in history to record double-digit catches for at least 150 receiving yards in three consecutive games. Lamb’s exceptional performance on Sunday saw him secure 11 receptions for an impressive 173 yards and a touchdown. This follows his outstanding displays of 11 receptions for 191 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles last week and 12 catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams two weeks ago.

“Absolutely,” responded Lamb when asked if he felt in the zone. “And it’s not stopping.”

With these remarkable achievements, Lamb’s season totals now stand at 68 receptions for 997 yards and four receiving touchdowns. Furthermore, he has achieved the rare feat of four consecutive 100-yard games, joining the esteemed company of Michael Irvin and Terrell Owens as the only players in Cowboys’ team history to accomplish this milestone.

It is worth noting that only five other receivers in NFL history have managed to achieve three consecutive 150-yard games, highlighting the magnitude of Lamb’s accomplishment.

“I’m the top receiver in this game, and there’s no question about it,” confidently stated Lamb, who also added a rushing touchdown to his impressive performance. “If there is any doubt, I’ll see you all again next week.”

Earlier in the season, Lamb’s numbers were relatively modest, with just 27 receptions for 358 yards and one touchdown in the first five games. However, his desire for more opportunities led him to publicly call for a greater role within the team. Since then, Lamb has been on a tear, amassing 41 receptions for 639 yards and three touchdowns in the past four games.

“Defenses are definitely trying to double-cover me, but Mike McCarthy, our head coach, is doing an exceptional job of moving me around, keeping me in motion, and lining me up on the outside,” explained Lamb. “This strategy prevents defenses from effectively neutralizing my impact on the game.”

The Cowboys are set to face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, providing Lamb with an excellent opportunity to extend his remarkable streak and continue his dominance on the field.
