BURGOS, Spain – The Burgos Badminton Club has concluded its participation in the National Silver League First Division, securing a commendable seventh-place finish. The team’s performance was solidified after competing in the fourth and final round of the competition in La coruña over the past weekend.
Young team Shows Promise Despite Recent Losses
The Burgos team, characterized by its youthful roster and continuous development, entered the final two matches having already secured thier place in the league for the next season.
In their first match of the weekend, CB burgos faced Palma in a head-to-head battle for higher rankings. The match was closely contested, with Palma ultimately winning by a narrow 4-3 margin.
Subsequently, the Burgos team faced a more formidable opponent in Club del Mar de San Amaro, the second-ranked team overall and the host of the competition round. In this encounter, the Club Bádminton Burgos was defeated 5-2.

Despite the two recent defeats, the Burgos team concludes the league season with positive feelings and high motivation for the upcoming season.
