re-signing of their superstar forward, Breanna Stewart, a move considered a
top priority for the reigning WNBA champions this offseason. Stewart’s
return cements the Liberty’s status as a title contender and ensures the
team retains one of the league’s most dominant and decorated players.
Stewart brings an unparalleled resume to the Liberty, including three WNBA
Championships, three olympic gold medals, two WNBA MVP awards, and two WNBA
Finals MVP awards.A six-time All-WNBA First Team selection, six-time WNBA
All-Star, six-time All-Defensive Team selection, and W25 honoree, Stewart
also holds the distinction of being the fastest player in league history to
reach 5,000 career points.
