Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal left Tuesday’s win over the Utah Jazz with left calf tightness and didn’t return.
After committing a foul at the 7:19 mark in the fourth quarter, Beal went to the locker room and remained there for the rest of the Suns’ 120-112 victory in Utah.
Beal scored 24 points, grabbed three rebounds, recorded four assists, tallied two steals, and blocked one shot before exiting after 29 minutes. The exact time of the injury was unclear.
“We’ll just see how he does,” Suns coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters postgame. “How he wakes up. What the medical team has for us tomorrow.”
Despite suffering two injuries on Sunday, Beal was not listed on the injury report for Tuesday’s game.
He had DeMar DeRozan drive into his left knee during Sunday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings and also tweaked an ankle. Additionally, he has been managing a right elbow issue.
Beal has played in nine of the Suns’ 11 games this season despite his string of injuries.
The Suns are back in action Wednesday against the Kings with tipoff at 8 p.m. on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.

The Phoenix Suns secured a vital victory against the Utah Jazz on February 15th, but the win came at a potential cost. Superstar guard Bradley Beal was forced to exit the game early due to right calf tightness, raising concerns about his availability for future matchups.
Suns Victorious Despite Injury Scare
Despite Beal’s absence in the second half, the Suns managed to hold off a late Jazz surge and secure a comfortable win. Devin Booker led the scoring charge with 28 points, showcasing his offensive prowess once again. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant‘s efficient 24 points demonstrated his continued impact on the team.

The Suns’ depth shone brightly throughout the contest, with Deandre Ayton contributing a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds. This balanced offensive attack proved crucial in securing the victory amidst Beal’s injury.
Beal’s Injury Raises Concerns
The sight of Beal walking off the court with evident discomfort instantly sparked concern among Suns fans. Calf injuries can be particularly tricky, often requiring extended periods of rest and rehabilitation. Head coach Monty Williams remained tight-lipped about the severity of the injury post-game, but emphasized the importance of prioritizing Beal’s health.
“We’ll monitor Bradley closely over the next few days,” Williams stated. “Our medical staff will determine the best course of action for his recovery. Right now, our focus is on making sure he gets the proper treatment and support.”
Impact on Suns’ Championship Aspirations
With the NBA playoffs rapidly approaching, Beal’s potential absence could significantly impact the Suns’ championship aspirations. He has been a crucial offensive weapon for the team, averaging over 26 points per game this season. His ability to create his own shot and facilitate the offense is invaluable.
Suns’ Remaining Schedule
The Suns have a challenging schedule remaining in the regular season, facing tough opponents both at home and on the road. Without Beal, their margin for error becomes significantly smaller. It remains to be seen how they will adjust offensively and whether depth players can step up in his absence.
Looking Ahead
The coming days will be crucial for determining the extent of Beal’s injury and his potential return timeframe. Suns fans anxiously await updates, hoping for positive news regarding their star guard’s health.
