In just under three and a half years, NFL officials, players, and countless football fans will gather in Atlanta for Super Bowl LXII.
During the NFL’s annual fall meeting, team owners voted to select Atlanta as the host city for the 2028 championship. This city has a history of hosting three Super Bowls, with the latest occurring in 2019 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, where the Atlanta Falcons began playing in 2017.
The Georgia Dome, now demolished, previously hosted the Super Bowl on two occasions.
