As much as we appreciate his shooting ability, we’re not entirely convinced that MPJ fulfills that essential role.

Gordon is unselfish, intelligent, physical, an incredibly athletic and relentless finisher, a skilled and committed defender, and skilled enough as a passer and shooter to exploit careless defenses.
AG is essentially the player you’d design in a video game to pair with Jokic and Murray while constructing an NBA 2K powerhouse on your console. Unfortunately, the reality surrounding Gordon, who turns 29 on Monday, is more intricate.
No. 50 possesses a $22.8 million player option for the 2025-26 season. Similar to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s earlier situation, Gordon could find a team with significant cap space willing to offer him a substantial deal. How proactive Kroenke and the Nuggets front office are regarding an extension for AG will indicate whether the talk of a Denver dynasty is grounded in reality or merely empty chatter.
