University of Virginia to Host 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships
Team and Individual Qualifiers Announced
Indianapolis — The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee revealed the team and individual qualifiers for the highly anticipated 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.
To secure eligibility for the championships, teams and individuals had to qualify at their respective NCAA regional championship competitions.
A total of 31 teams have been selected to participate in each championship. The top two seven-person teams from each of the nine regions automatically qualified, resulting in 18 teams. Additionally, 13 more teams were chosen as at-large selections.
Furthermore, 38 individuals have been selected to participate in each championship through a combination of automatic qualifiers and at-large selections. All individual qualifiers finished within the top 25 in their respective regions.
The University of Virginia has been chosen as the host for the championships, which will take place on Saturday, November 18, at the Panorama Farms Cross Country Course in Charlottesville, Virginia. The women’s race will commence at 10:20 a.m. Eastern Time, followed by the men’s race at 11:10 a.m. Eastern Time.
Admission to the event will be $20 per person and will include parking at the Fashion Square Mall, entry into the event, and round-trip shuttle service. Shuttles to Panorama Farms will operate from 6:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with return shuttles running from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please note that there will be no on-site spectator parking available at Panorama Farms. All tickets must be purchased in advance online at ncaatickets.com, as no on-site sales will be available. Due to limited availability, early purchase is strongly encouraged.
For those unable to attend the championships in person, all the action can be watched live on ESPNU and the ESPN App, starting at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, November 18.

University of Virginia to Host 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships
INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced today the team and individual qualifiers for the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.
In order to be eligible to participate in the championships, teams and individuals qualified at their respective NCAA regional championship competitions.
Thirty-one teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the nine regions, for a total of 18 teams. Thirteen additional teams were selected at-large.
Thirty-eight individuals were selected to participate in each championship through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process. All individual qualifiers finished in the top 25 in their regions.
The University of Virginia will host the championships on Saturday, November 18, at Panorama Farms Cross Country Course located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
