As Week 9 of the 2024 NFL⁤ season kicks off, league ‍insiders Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano are here to provide insight into the most pressing questions, current news, and notable‌ buzz surrounding this week’s games. Additionally, they will highlight which players should be considered for your fantasy football lineups.

This week, the focus is largely on the upcoming trade deadline (set for Nov. 5 at‍ 4 p.m. ET). Who are the most likely players to be traded, and who is drawing some quiet ⁣interest? Which teams are poised to make headlines as the deadline approaches, and what trades would clearly make sense? Dan and Jeremy cover these key questions and share their insights based on the latest information as they ‌prepare⁤ for Week 9.

Who is the player most likely to be traded ⁤over the next week — and where could he go?

Graziano: As of Tuesday morning, the ‌most likely candidate was wide receiver Diontae Johnson, but by Tuesday afternoon, he ⁣had been traded to the Ravens. With Johnson out of the⁢ picture, I would now consider Browns edge rusher Za’Darius Smith as the main target. Cleveland is not keen on trading Myles Garrett, yet they have received inquiries regarding Smith, who is earning ⁢a modest salary of $1.21 million ⁢this year and has about $11 million in non-guaranteed compensation for 2025.

At ⁤32 ⁤years old, Smith likely does not feature in Cleveland’s long-term plans. Therefore, if the Browns can secure a favorable draft pick from a team in need of a short-term edge rusher, moving him makes sense. The Browns appear to be preparing for a rebuild, possibly focusing on a new quarterback next season.

Why Jeff Saturday likes Ravens trading for Diontae Johnson

<p‌ class="contentItem__subhead

Jeff Saturday analyzes the Ravens’ ⁣choice to acquire wide receiver Diontae Johnson.

Fowler: That’s a solid selection, Dan.⁣ While the Browns are unlikely to part with key players, they might be proactive if the right opportunities ⁣present ‌themselves. From what I’m gathering, a reasonable Day 3 draft pick should suffice for Smith. Meanwhile, I’ll focus on the Jets’ Mike Williams. It’s evident that the Jets are open to trading, Williams is receptive to the idea, and there’s outside interest in a deal. However, it seems the Jets prefer to wait until after Thursday night’s game against the Texans before thoroughly evaluating ⁣the market and considering any trades.

If the Jets manage a win, they’ll maintain slim playoff hopes, potentially deciding to ⁣keep Williams as a valuable vertical option ‌alongside Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams. Conversely, a loss would increase the incentive to trade him. Williams, under ⁢a restructured one-year deal, has a ‌manageable salary of $1.255 million along with $100,000 roster bonuses per game.

Graziano: ⁢ Just a week ago,‌ there were whispers about Cooper Kupp in Los Angeles. However, after the Rams won a couple of games and find themselves in a competitive NFC West, it seems Kupp will likely remain with the team (they were asking for a hefty‌ return for him anyway). Still, coach Sean McVay mentioned on Monday that‍ the team‍ allowed⁤ cornerback Tre’Davious White to explore trade opportunities, raising the possibility that the veteran corner could be on the move.

Fowler: Many teams are seeking quality cornerbacks, and White ‌certainly ⁣has a strong background despite concerns over injuries that might impact his lower-body explosiveness. Nevertheless, he’s a seasoned veteran⁤ with solid technique who can contribute to a team’s success. It increasingly appears that Kupp is off the trading block, as receiver-needy teams⁣ shift ⁣their focus. However, similar to Christian McCaffrey’s⁤ explosive trade to San Francisco two years ago, unexpected trades can always occur.

Which⁤ under-the-radar players are generating trade interest?

Fowler: ⁣ Houston guard Kenyon Green, a former first-round draft choice, has appeared on several teams’ trade candidate lists. I had mentioned this even before his benching in‍ Week 8. The Texans might choose to retain him given the rarity of top-tier offensive linemen, but GM Nick Caserio is known for his assertiveness, so trading a guard for another guard wouldn’t be surprising. Additionally, Chicago’s Nate Davis⁣ is on the market, and the Bears are willing to cover part of his $8 million salary to facilitate a deal.

Veteran safety Mike Edwards ‌from Buffalo is ‌available and is looking‍ for a team where he can see more playing time (he’s been consistently inactive).⁣ Similarly, Washington’s Darrick Forrest, ⁣a former starter, ‍finds himself outside the rotation and could benefit from a new opportunity⁤ elsewhere. Vikings linebacker Brian Asamoah⁣ II, a past third-round selection, is⁣ also a potential ‌trade⁣ candidate, having yet to make a significant impact in Brian Flores’ defense.

At some point, will the Giants decide to move on from Evan Neal, a former ‍top-10 pick, especially since⁣ they haven’t utilized him despite Andrew Thomas’ foot injury? If they choose to entertain trade offers, the Giants have ‌several candidates. Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is also not in play, and receiver Darius⁤ Slayton showcased his skills on Monday night, recording 108 receiving yards.

Graziano: I’d like⁣ to mention another Giant—24-year-old edge rusher Azeez Ojulari, who‍ has already tallied six sacks this season and 22 in his four-year career. As a second-round pick from 2021, he’s in the final year of⁤ his rookie contract. While the Giants value him and he could be considered for their long-term ‌plans, their significant investments in edge rushers Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux may limit additional expenditures in that area. If they were to hypothetically discuss an extension with Ojulari and find their ⁢visions for a long-term deal don’t align, the Giants could likely secure a valuable return‌ in a⁣ trade.

I’m also interested to see how the Panthers handle running backs Chuba ⁢Hubbard‍ and Miles Sanders. They selected Jonathon Brooks in the second round, and he is nearing a return from ⁣a knee injury sustained in college, which would mark his NFL debut. However, even if they want to ease…

With Brooks taking ‍the field, it ‍seems likely⁤ that at least one of the team’s seasoned‍ running backs will be impacted. It would not ⁣come as a shock to see either Sanders or ⁤Hubbard depart.

Fowler: ⁢From my discussions with various teams, it appears the Panthers prefer to ⁤retain Hubbard but are open to offers for Sanders. Since signing a four-year, $25.4‌ million contract during the 2023 free agency, he has had 163 carries. ⁤The remaining ‌$4.02 million of his salary is guaranteed, meaning Carolina may need to‌ invest some funds to complete any trade. Unlike the surge in the‍ receiver trade market, the running back‍ market hasn’t seen the same activity. However, Sanders⁢ and⁤ Chicago’s Khalil Herbert top my list of viable trade candidates at the RB position.

What’s your take on San Francisco, Dan? The 49ers seem to be considering a move for defensive line reinforcements — I’ve spoken with several‌ teams who⁣ feel‍ a transaction is likely. How about pursuing former 49ers DeForest Buckner (now with Indianapolis) or D.J. Jones (currently with Denver)?

Enjoy your favorite⁤ live sports, stories, and originals with ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu. Upgrade to a Disney Bundle plan and start streaming ‍something enjoyable for everyone today!

Graziano: That seems plausible, yet I sense neither of those teams is particularly eager to trade those players. If the Niners⁢ want to enhance their defensive line, a more probable trade option might be New England’s ‌Davon Godchaux, especially since ⁢the Patriots‌ are offloading individuals they’ve recently extended. Godchaux’s salary of $4 ⁣million is guaranteed for next year. The Niners are determined to succeed, and I anticipate them seeking defensive assistance after a season where they haven’t performed to their usual standards.

The 49ers find themselves in a challenging position, facing vital decisions regarding substantial contracts in the upcoming offseason. However, having come so close to winning the Super Bowl in February, they feel a commitment to their current roster and ⁤want to give it their utmost effort.

Suggest one deadline deal that‌ would be beneficial for both parties.

Graziano: A trade of Panthers quarterback Bryce Young to the Giants⁤ for a fourth-round pick seems sensible. I don’t see Carolina fetching more ‌than a fourth-round selection⁢ for Young at this moment (which could motivate them to retain him). However, if the Panthers are ready to move on, New York ‌would be an ⁢appealing destination for him. Although Young and Giants coach Brian Daboll didn’t overlap during their time at Alabama, they likely‍ share many connections, and Daboll might see Young as a player he‌ could nurture.

The Giants are uncertain about their quarterback situation looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, and ⁤taking a low-cost chance on a former No. 1 pick from just 18 months ago could be⁣ worthwhile.

Fowler: I suggest the Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II be traded to the Buccaneers for a fifth-round pick. The Tampa Bay secondary has faced numerous injuries and requires reinforcement. Although making ⁢big moves at the deadline is not typically the‌ Bucs’ approach, they are currently‌ in a competitive NFC South‍ race with a productive offense and will ⁢soon welcome back receiver Mike Evans (hamstring). Conversations across the league indicate that ‍Cleveland is receptive to ⁢trade offers ‌for multiple players, and Newsome, possessing first-round talent and 42 career starts, should attract interest.

A potential ⁢concern is that Cleveland picked up his fifth-year option for 2025, rendering his $13.37 million salary guaranteed in case of injury.

Which team is the most⁢ intriguing‌ as the⁤ deadline approaches?

Fowler: I believe the Broncos are a compelling ‌team ‌to watch, being a dark horse to either acquire players or trade some away, currently⁤ sitting at 5-3. ‍They have sufficient talent to receive inquiries but still have gaps to⁤ address before the deadline. Depth players like pass rusher Baron Browning, corner Damarri‍ Mathis, and quarterback Zach Wilson⁢ are all viewed as possible trade bait. Tight end Greg Dulcich,⁢ having been a healthy scratch in October, might catch the attention of teams seeking a deep threat in the middle of the field.‌ Historically, the Broncos have turned down offers for Courtland Sutton, but with the⁢ current‍ aggressive receiver market this autumn, anything could happen.

Moreover, it appears Denver’s offense is lacking something essential. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Broncos search for a⁣ pass-catching running‌ back; Coach Sean Payton has long valued these versatile backs, reminiscent of the days with Darren Sproles.

Graziano: I also ‌considered a team in the AFC West. The Chargers, currently 4-3 in Jim Harbaugh’s inaugural season, may feel inclined to add a player or two as they aim for a playoff push, supported by a robust defense and a standout⁣ quarterback. Would they be interested in bringing back Mike Williams?

Schefter to ⁤McAfee: ACL injury a devastating blow for Stefon Diggs, Texans

Adam Schefter joins Pat McAfee to discuss Stefon Diggs’ season-ending⁢ torn ACL.

The other team worth mentioning is the Texans, who had an “all-in” offseason but have faced some⁢ challenging ⁣losses during the season. With⁢ Stefon Diggs sidelined for⁤ the season, I wonder if Houston might explore the receiver market ‌this weekend, following their Thursday night matchup against the Jets. They are hopeful that top receiver Nico Collins will return from IR when eligible in Week 10, and they ⁤have high expectations for Tank⁢ Dell, but their depth at receiver is lacking. Diggs was a player they anticipated utilizing in the middle of the field, a space where Collins and Dell do not frequently operate.

At 6-2 and looking to fully leverage quarterback C.J. Stroud’s rookie contract, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Texans active in‍ trade‍ discussions early next week. I’ve heard whispers that they are indeed exploring receiver options. Watch for names like Slayton, Kendrick Bourne, and K.J. Osborn; they would also likely pursue Jakobi Meyers if the Raiders put him on the block.

Fowler: The Eagles consistently pose a threat to make moves before the deadline, though⁤ they ‍currently lack obvious needs. Left tackle Jordan Mailata is set to return soon. The ongoing youth ‌movement on defense is flourishing, featuring pass rusher Nolan⁤ Smith Jr. along with corners Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. Could GM Howie Roseman take a chance on acquiring a star like Cardinals safety Budda Baker?

What’s your top fantasy football tip of the week?

?

Fowler: Allow Patrick Mahomes ⁤another opportunity. ‍It may seem odd to⁤ regard the planet’s elite player as merely a fringe fantasy option or someone to keep sidelined. Nevertheless, it’s a fact that Mahomes occupies a stratosphere where he consistently makes plays that can decide a game, regardless of his statistics. You can be assured he’ll deliver a three-touchdown outing‌ at some point. Additionally, the Buccaneers’ defense has allowed opposing quarterbacks to rack up ⁢36 fantasy points in three different games this season. On average, quarterbacks score 25.5 points against‍ the Tampa defense.

Why Yates has Patrick Mahomes as QB-12 for Week 9

Field Yates shares his fantasy⁣ enthusiasm for Patrick Mahomes in the Week 9 match against the Buccaneers.

Graziano: I’m looking at the same matchup. I have a favorable impression of Buccaneers ⁢tight end Cade Otton, who I believe can continue his strong performance against the Chiefs this week, despite National Tight Ends Day being ⁢over. The Chiefs are surrendering the highest average of fantasy points per game to tight ends, and ⁤the Bucs will⁤ rely on Otton to absorb some of the workload and running‍ routes that receiver ‌Chris Godwin managed‍ before his season-ending injury in Week 7. In the Bucs’ first game without Godwin (and likely without Evans for a few more weeks), Otton shone brightly. With the Chiefs proving tough to run against this ‍season, Baker Mayfield will be taking to the air—and Otton is a viable starting option.

What other news is ‌emerging this week?

Graziano’s insights:

  • The Colts have indicated, based on conversations I had Tuesday, that they’re not ready to give up on quarterback Anthony ‍Richardson, despite his⁣ recent benching. With a current record of ⁢4-4, they see Joe Flacco as the better option ‌at this moment ‍as ‍they’re⁣ half a game behind the Chargers for the ⁤last wild-card spot in the AFC. They’ve always recognized that Richardson needs game time to improve, but they’ve concluded ⁤that⁢ the best course for him right⁢ now is to step back from the intense focus and pressure he’s been experiencing. The Colts ⁤face numerous challenges beyond just the quarterback position, and it remains uncertain if Flacco can lead them to the playoffs as he did with the Browns last⁣ season. However, I don’t believe we’ve seen the last of Richardson in Indianapolis, even into 2024. (I⁤ also don’t think the decision to bench Richardson stemmed from him taking himself out for a play during Sunday’s game. Although it was not a great look and didn’t⁢ resonate well within the organization, he ‍remains a well-liked player. I believe the benching was primarily performance-related, and a 44.4% completion percentage certainly justifies pulling any QB.)

Jeff Saturday: Anthony Richardson’s ⁣benching a detrimental ⁤situation for Colts

Jeff Saturday expresses his thoughts on the Colts’ decision to bench Anthony Richardson and its implications for‌ the team’s future.

  • The Steelers are heading into ‍their bye week after⁣ six games⁤ featuring Justin Fields as the starting quarterback and two with ⁢Russell Wilson. They have been pleased⁣ with‍ both⁢ performances, and it seems likely they will continue with Wilson in ⁤Week 10 as they face⁣ a challenging stretch of games ahead. Wilson has followed the game plan effectively (which was a significant issue during his two⁢ seasons in Denver), successfully completing some deep passes that Fields had hesitated to take in favor of prioritizing ball security. Despite this, Fields offers more explosiveness and plays a key role in⁢ enhancing their run game.

Steelers coaches are well aware of the situation. I wouldn’t be shocked if Fields returns to play ⁤this season, either‌ as the starter if Wilson encounters difficulties or even at times during ⁤games‌ that Wilson begins, which was initially the⁤ plan ‍before Wilson ‌sustained his training camp injury. The Steelers still have all six of their⁤ intra-division games on‍ the schedule, along with matchups against the Commanders,⁢ Eagles, and⁢ Chiefs. Wilson‍ managed to secure victories against ⁢the Jets and Giants, but those teams currently hold a 2-6 record. Pittsburgh faces substantial challenges ahead; nevertheless, the Steelers are sitting at 6-2 and feel confident about both quarterback options.

  • Rob Demovsky, a reporter for the Packers, has indicated that quarterback Jordan Love has a relatively minor groin injury and might play this week against Detroit if he can participate sufficiently in practice. Even if Love⁢ ends up sitting⁤ out this week, it could ⁢potentially be just a single game, as the Packers have a ‍bye in Week 10. ⁢However, what has not received adequate attention is the impressive performance of backup quarterback Malik Willis, whom ⁢the Packers acquired in a trade just before the season began. Willis has stepped in effectively during the times Love was sidelined earlier this season, as well as on Sunday when Love left⁣ due to‍ his injury. Coaches from the Packers are extremely impressed⁣ with what Willis has accomplished, reflecting positively on both ‍him and coach Matt LaFleur along with offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich.

  • Fowler’s notes:

    • The Week 9⁤ benching of ‌Richardson warrants a progress report on the quarterbacks from the 2023 draft class. Like Dan, I don’t view the Richardson experiment as concluded. He⁢ possesses significant talent, is dedicated, and requires more game reps. A source‌ close to Richardson mentioned that he intends to push through this challenge by focusing on the work ‍ahead, keeping his head ⁢down and moving forward. Last season’s shoulder injury was unfortunate, as it‌ deprived him of⁤ a crucial ⁤rookie year to refine the inconsistent play he is currently experiencing in Year 2. However, ‌from my inquiries, it seems some of the receivers felt more at‍ ease, at least in the short term, with the consistent passing game provided by a⁢ veteran like Flacco.

With⁤ a 1-6 record, Tennessee can afford to let Levis address his inconsistent play. However, if his performance doesn’t improve, it’s hard to ‍ignore the possibility that he might face a similar fate as Richardson.

    • In Carolina, previously benched Bryce Young had several positive moments‌ while filling in for Andy Dalton‍ on Sunday, ‍completing 24 of 37 attempts‍ for 224 yards, two touchdowns, and ‌two interceptions,‍ marking his best performance of the season. However, it seems ‍likely ‍that Carolina might revert to Dalton, assuming his injured thumb recovers.

    • The Super Bowl champion Chiefs have been active in the trade market and may not be finished yet. Kansas City has addressed two ⁣of their needs by acquiring wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and ‍pass rusher Joshua Uche in consecutive‌ weeks. Nevertheless, cornerback remains a priority after Jaylen Watson’s season-ending injury, and ‌it’s believed that Kansas ⁢City is at⁣ least keeping a close watch on that ⁢market ‍leading up to the trade deadline.⁣ While the Chiefs are not urgently seeking trades, they remain open to opportunities, and their draft prospects for 2025 remain solid after acquiring ⁤a third-round pick from the L’Jarius Sneed trade. Additionally, the Chiefs value familiar faces, so it’s‌ noteworthy that former Chiefs Marcus ⁣Peters⁢ and Steven Nelson ‍are still available as free agents.

    • The Jaguars’ decision to trade left tackle Cam Robinson to ‌Minnesota does not indicate a complete⁤ sell-off for the 2-6 team; however, Jacksonville has been willing to part ‍with depth along both the offensive and defensive lines for the past few weeks. The presence of ‌Walker Little⁢ as the third tackle has made trading Robinson a more feasible choice. An injury to the left…

      • The heightened urgency for the Vikings came with the tackle Christian Darrisaw’s situation, leading to ⁢the removal of Robinson’s $16.2 million base salary from the Jaguars’ financials. Additionally, Jacksonville has engaged in discussions with other teams regarding its defensive line depth, indicating they might still be active in the market. However, there remains a belief in their core players despite inconsistent⁢ on-field performance. Keep an eye on depth players like Esezi Otomewo and Jeremiah Ledbetter as the deadline approaches.

      • In Week 8, rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. of the Arizona Cardinals achieved his second 100-yard game after experiencing four consecutive weeks of under-50-yard performances. The Cardinals maintained their composure and did not panic during Harrison’s rough patch. Remarkably, they did not adjust their game plan on Sunday to prioritize getting him the ball more. He has consistently been an integral ⁢part of their strategy, though multiple factors—such as protection issues‍ or defensive adjustments—have prevented successful connections on ‍several occasions. “Kyler [Murray] ⁤ has always trusted him,” a ‌team source noted. “The‍ chemistry develops naturally, so there’s no concern during a slow week. He is aware and has shown patience. We know⁢ he can ignite things,⁢ leading to positive outcomes.”

Trade⁤ Talk and Fantasy Insights: Key NFL ⁣Moves to Watch Ahead of Week 9

Understanding the NFL Landscape Before Week 9

As we approach Week 9 of ‌the NFL ⁢season, the excitement builds not only for the games⁤ but also for potential trade moves that could shift the fantasy ‍football landscape dramatically. Teams are assessing their needs while fantasy players are‌ eager to‌ capitalize on any changes that could elevate their rosters.

Key Trades and⁤ Player Movements to ⁢Monitor

Several players are generating‌ buzz as ‌potential trade candidates. Whether due to underperformance, injury histories, or team‍ dynamics, these moves could⁣ significantly ‍impact your fantasy football lineup.

      1. Quarterback Carousel

Quarterbacks ‍are the heart of fantasy football, and any change at this position can ‍have cascading effects. Here ‍are some key QBs to watch:

      • Daniel Jones (NY Giants):⁢ With his struggles and recent injuries, the Giants ⁤may consider trading or⁤ benching‌ him.
      • Jimmy Garoppolo (Las⁢ Vegas Raiders): If the Raiders⁤ continue to ⁢falter, ⁢Garoppolo could be traded to a team that ⁤needs a bridge QB.
      • Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings): His performance has been inconsistent, making him a candidate ‍for trade if Minnesota opts⁢ for a rebuild.

      2. Running Back Shake-Up

Running backs are⁤ often at the center of trade discussions, especially during⁤ the ‌mid-season. Here⁣ are some⁤ players to keep an eye on:

      • Josh Jacobs (Las⁢ Vegas Raiders):⁢ With the Raiders not meeting ‌expectations, a ‌trade could free Jacobs from a struggling offense.
      • Saquon‍ Barkley (NY Giants): If the ⁢Giants decide to rebuild, Barkley could be a valuable asset on the trade ⁢market.
      • Leonard Fournette (Free Agent): If picked up,‍ he could become a significant fantasy⁢ contributor ⁣depending on⁢ the situation.

      3. Wide Receiver‌ Market⁣ Watch

The wide⁢ receiver position is notoriously volatile, and trades can majorly affect fantasy value. Potential candidates include:

      • Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos): If the Broncos decide to rebuild, Jeudy could be a prime target for a team looking for a ⁢dynamic‍ receiver.
      • Michael Thomas (New Orleans Saints): Injuries ⁤have plagued Thomas, but he could still ⁤be a valuable asset ⁤if traded‍ to‌ a contender.
      • DJ ⁣Moore‌ (Chicago Bears): With the Bears in flux, Moore’s ⁣value could rise if he finds himself in a more favorable situation.

      Fantasy Football Implications of⁣ Trades

The ⁣right trade can elevate a fantasy team from mediocre to championship contender. Here’s how to navigate these potential trades:

      Benefits⁢ of Making‍ Strategic Trades

      • Increased Depth: Acquiring key players can improve ‍overall team performance.
      • Targeting Underperformers: Some players may not‍ be performing to their potential due⁣ to poor team dynamics.
      • Improving Matchups: ⁣Trading for players with ‍more favorable schedules can enhance your chances of winning.

      Practical Tips for Trade Negotiation

      1. Know Your League: Understand the scoring format and player values in your specific league.
      2. Assess Needs: Identify what positions you need to address and target players ‍accordingly.
      3. Be Flexible: Be willing to adjust your offers based on the feedback from other⁣ managers.
      4. Stay Informed: Keep up with ‌injury reports and ‍player performances to make informed trade decisions.

      Case Studies of Successful⁢ Trades

Looking at historical trade successes can ‍provide insight into potential current moves:

      Trade Teams Involved Fantasy‌ Impact
DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona Cardinals Houston Texans & ⁢Arizona Cardinals Immediate boost in production for Hopkins and Kyler Murray
AJ Brown to Philadelphia⁤ Eagles Tennessee‍ Titans & Philadelphia⁤ Eagles Significant increase in target share and fantasy relevance

      First-Hand Experience: Navigating Trades

As a dedicated fantasy player, I’ve navigated several trades that ⁤have shaped my seasons. Here’s‍ a recent experience:

In 2022, I struggled‌ with QB injuries. Recognizing that I needed to solidify my position, I offered a mid-tier WR and a backup⁣ QB for a top-10 QB emerging in a trade discussion. The owner was looking‌ to strengthen their WR corps, and⁢ it turned ‌out to be a win-win. ⁤This trade ‌allowed me to make a championship run, showcasing the importance of⁣ timely trades.

Preparing for Week 9: Monitoring the Trade Deadline

The⁤ NFL trade deadline is ‌a pivotal moment in the season. Keeping an eye on rumors and reports can give you an edge over your competition. ⁤Here are some key strategies to prepare:

      • Follow Reliable⁢ Sources: ⁤Stay ‍updated with⁤ trusted NFL analysts and insider information.
      • Engage with Fantasy⁤ Communities: ‌Online forums and social media platforms can provide ‍valuable insights and discussions.
      • Adjust Your Lineup: Be ready ⁤to pivot your fantasy‌ strategy based on trades that happen near the deadline.

      Analyzing Player Performance Post-Trade

After a trade occurs, it’s crucial to ‍analyze ⁤how the player’s performance⁢ is influenced by their new context:

      • How does the offensive scheme change?
      • What is the quarterback situation?
      • Are there new teammates who may affect target⁤ share?

      Conclusion

As Week‌ 9 approaches, the potential for trades in the NFL creates excitement both‍ on the field and in fantasy leagues. Awareness of key players, understanding trade dynamics, and making informed decisions will enhance your fantasy strategy. Stay alert, stay⁣ engaged, ⁣and ‍make ⁣the most of this trade season!
