Bird to oversee Roster, Coaching Selections for Key Competitions
Approved by the USA Basketball Board of Directors, Bird’s responsibilities will include selecting coaching staff and players for major events. This includes the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, as well as program training camps over the next three years.
