JAMMU, april 19 – The Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Services Department concluded its annual fire Service Week with a display of skill and teamwork, held from April 14-20. the week featured competitions and drills at the Fire Training Centre Bari Brahmna and Batmaloo headquarters.

Approximately 150 fire service personnel from across Jammu and Kashmir province participated in a series of sporting events designed to test their physical fitness, coordination, and team spirit. Events included fire drills, volleyball, tug of war, badminton, and cricket.

The Fire Service Week culminated in several closely contested finals:
- Volleyball: Fire and Emergency Services Command Ramban defeated Jammu Command.
- Fire Drill: fire and Emergency Services Jammu Command took first place, followed by Udhampur/Reasi Command and Doda/Kishtwar Command.
- Tug of war: Udhampur/Reasi command secured first place over Rajouri/Poonch Command.
