FC Porto Women Secure Tenth Consecutive Victory, Advance in Cup
PORTO, Portugal – FC Porto’s women’s football team continued their dominant run, securing their tenth consecutive victory in the second phase of the Portuguese third division. The team also advanced to the semi-finals of the Taça AF Porto.
Decisive Win Against Merelinense
In a commanding performance, the league leaders defeated Merelinense 6-0 in the 11th round of the Serie Norte. The victory brings their point total to 30.

Beatriz Amorim opened the scoring early in the 3rd minute, followed quickly by Marta Rodrigues in the 5th. Verónica Khudyakova added a third in the 23rd minute, and Cristina Ferreira scored in the 42nd minute to give Porto a comfortable lead going into halftime. Susana Rocha extended the lead in the 66th minute, and Catarina Pereira sealed the victory with a penalty in the 77th minute.
