Next week, Grandview Speedway will host another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event, featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman.
The program on Saturday, August 31, will kick off with qualifying heats for both divisions, leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified main event and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman.
This Saturday’s event will also include an enjoyable addition for younger attendees: a kid’s money scramble during intermission. Children will be organized into four different age groups and will race to collect as many scattered coins as possible within a time limit! Last year, it was incredible to see how quickly the kids were moving, gleefully scooping up coins from the racetrack like little vacuum cleaners!
Pit gates are set to open at 4 PM, while grandstand gates will open at 5:30 PM. Warm-ups will begin at 6:15 PM, and the first race of the evening is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM.
Admission for adults in the grandstand is $20, while students aged 10-15 with ID can enter for $10. Children 9 and under are free. Pit admission costs $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
The weekend festivities will actually commence on Friday, August 30, with an exciting Outlaw Racing Series Enduro/Vintage doubleheader, along with the addition of Slingshots.
For Friday’s events, adult grandstand admission is set at $10, while children 12 and under can enter for free. The pit admission is $30. Pit gates will open at 2 PM, followed by grandstand gates at 5 PM, and racing will begin at 7 PM.
Since the 1960s, Grandview Speedway has been delivering thrilling wheel-to-wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday night, from April to October, in addition to special events. Located at 43 Passmore Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505, Grandview Speedway is conveniently situated just off Route 100, about ten miles north of Pottstown, PA.
