NEWARK, N.J. — Chase Stillman learned valuable lessons in his first season with the American Hockey League, gaining insight into the type of player he aspires to be for the New Jersey Devils.
“I believe there is still more potential I can tap into, which largely relies on gaining confidence and seizing opportunities,” noted the 21-year-old forward, who was drafted by the Devils at No. 29 in the 2021 NHL Draft. “Having completed my first year, I’m excited to have another full summer in the gym to build strength and focus on areas for improvement that I’ve been advised about.”
Stillman stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 185 pounds. He recorded 24 points (14 goals and 10 assists) over 54 games with Utica in the AHL last season. His performance gained recognition from New Jersey’s management team.
