All American Speedway Celebrates 70 Years of Racing with the Exciting NASCAR Summer Classic

Roseville’s⁣ All⁣ American Speedway continues to commemorate‍ 70 years of​ racing at @the Grounds with the NASCAR⁣ Summer Classic​ on Saturday night, August 24th. The event will ​feature all seven NASCAR weekly championship divisions in a competitive showdown, followed by a thrilling ‍Demolition Derby and post-race fireworks that will illuminate the night ‌sky.

Under the⁤ lights, competitors will include JM Environmental Super Series Late Models, Berco ⁣Redwood Pro ​Late Models, Velocity Solar Modifieds, NAPA Auto Parts Super Stocks, F4s, Pressler​ Properties Legends, and Jr. Late Models.

The grandstands will open at 4:00 PM, with heat⁣ races kicking off at 5:00 PM. Opening ceremonies at​ 6:00 PM will ⁢showcase a special presentation ⁣from the Cibara Go ‌Kart team in ‌collaboration with Bel Ali Shriners. The 2024 Del Oro High School graduate will encounter a new rival in the ‍Super Series, as 2023 Shasta ⁣125 champion ​Dane Nissen of ⁤Williams is expected to⁢ make his All American Speedway debut, vying against some of ⁤the ⁤best ⁣Super Late Model drivers ⁣in the region.

The​ NASCAR Pro‍ Late Model ​division will introduce some new ⁤competitors, ⁤including ⁣fourth-generation racer Kylie Glick of Lincoln, ‍who⁤ recently celebrated her 14th ‌birthday and is “graduating” ‌to the Pro Late Model category. Roseville’s Josh Whitfield, the defending champion ​of the Pro Late Model⁣ division, is determined to claim victory at‌ the Summer Classic.

Sebastopol’s‌ Cody Winchel marked his presence⁤ in the Velocity Solar Modifieds⁤ by⁣ winning⁢ a $1,000 prize on June 1st, seizing first place in the 30-lap feature. ⁤Winchel edged out 2023 champion Tyler Wentworth of Rocklin, with Luke Kaper of ‍Lincoln‍ finishing in⁢ third place.

In the season ‍opener for the NAPA ‍Auto Parts Super Stocks, Roseville’s Phil Wilkins emerged victorious in‍ the 30-lap feature. Tim ⁣Walters of ‍Dixon was ‍his closest‍ competitor, while Antelope’s Terry Thomas, Jr. rounded out the top three.

The⁤ revamped F4 division kicked off the season ‍with excitement, showcasing⁢ a competitive ⁣30-lap race where Citrus Heights’ Vic Theberge took the victory over former champion Ray Molina from Roseville.

Chase Lopez of San Leandro triumphed in the season ‍opener for the Jr. Late Model division, catering to drivers‍ aged 10-16 years old. He aims to achieve another win in ‌the ‍upcoming 25-lap main event.

The Pressler Properties INEX ‌Legends are⁤ vying for their inaugural track championship in ⁢Roseville. In the season ​opener, an impressive 26 cars took⁤ the track, with 2022 Modified track champion Brandon White of Eureka clinching the win. A 30-lap ⁢feature is set ⁢for the Summer Classic.

Activities will begin on ⁤Friday with ‍practice from 4 PM to ‍7:30 PM. On race ‍day ⁢Saturday, pit gates will open at 10:30 AM, followed by a drivers ‍meeting​ at 11:30 AM ⁤and ⁤practice starting at 12:30 PM. Grandstand gates will ⁣open at 4⁤ PM with heat races beginning⁣ at 5 PM. The ‍opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6 PM, leading into the seven main events, the Demolition Derby, and the spectacular⁤ fireworks ⁢display.
