Legendary college football coach Nick Saban will be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. The seven-time national champion, who retired after the 2023 season, amassed a career record of 292-71-1, solidifying his place as one of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport.

Saban’s induction was initially slated for the Class of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused postponements.The pandemic also altered the NCAA football recruiting calendar, hindering Saban’s ability too attend the annual June ceremonies.
