Who Won the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year?
Hocevar expressed his joy at winning the award, highlighting its significance. “Being named Sunoco Rookie of the Year is special,” he said.
“I was edged out for Rookie of the Year in the CRAFTSMAN Truck series, and I didn’t run a full Xfinity Series schedule, so to win this award at NASCAR Cup Series level speaks volumes about our entire team’s accomplishment.”
Hocevar earned this recognition through some impressive performances throughout the 2024 season. He secured six top-10 finishes, including an outstanding third-place finish at Watkins Glen in September.
It’s certainly exciting to see if Hocevar can follow in the footsteps of Logano and other former Rookie of the Year winners by capturing a championship down the line.
